The weather was so nice last weekend that we decided to spend time outside as much as we could so we took the kids to Lake Wheeler on Saturday. There are so many activities you can do at the lake: paddle boat, fishing, playground, picnic, cook out, etc. We let the kids play at the playground, then we strolled around the lake and let them splash around at the ‘beach’. Things went down hill fast when Aden decided to dip himself in the water – he was such a mess! We had to clean him up before he could get in the car, but we all had a lot of fun.
