David took a couple days off to treat himself for his BD and to get some stuff done around the house. He relaxed, played some poker, and planned to go shooting. We had not decided if we wanted to go out to eat or not when our friends, Blake and Bea, told us about some medical issues Bea was having that stemmed from the birth of their twins, Cameron and Gabrielle, so we spent the night watching the Olympics and feeding the month-old twins so B&B could catch up on their sleep. They are beautiful babies and very well behaved – they just eat and sleep…and poop! Well, since Riot and David drove separately to their house, Riot made a side trip to the Cheesecake Factory and surprised David by picking up Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake and then a cup of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee (his favorite) to celebrate his birthday. After 9 years of marriage, she still knows how to surprise him!
That evening while Gade was watching Anya and Aden, they made a present for daddy that was a photo collage in a special picture frame.
