We went to Charlotte last weekend for a day trip to check out the new Ikea. To make the trip worthwhile, we also went to visit Lazy 5 Ranch (http://www.lazy5ranch.com/). We invited Darin and Mirin to join our trip. The Lazy 5 Ranch is a privately owned exotic animal drive-thru park that offers a 3.5 mile safari through the gently sloping pasturelands of Piedmont, North Carolina. There are over 750 animals from six different continents including giraffes, buffalos, zebras, hippos, water buffalo, antelope, and many more. We fed some of the animals from our car and the kids loved it! We all had great time.
