Happy Chinese (COW) New Year

Chinese New Year 2009 falls on January 26, 2009. Year 2009 is the Chinese Brown Earth (Soil) Cow Year.

Riot is half Chinese and always celebrated the New Year when she lived in Thailand. Every year she takes pictures of the kids in Chinese outfit and send to her family in Thailand. Even though they can not be there in person, but they will be thought of at the family gathering. Of course, another reason is to remind the family not forget to give them red envelops!

Here how to say Happy New Year in Chinese (Mandarin): Xin [sing] Nian [nee-an] Kuai [kwai] Le [ler]!
