We invited some friends over for trick-or-treating around our neighborhood and dinner afterward. David, the kids, Gade, Oam, The Mercers, The Dillards, and Sorena all went out for trick-or-treating. Riot and Toi stayed home to give out candy to trick-or-treaters and got the food ready. The kids had a lot of fun going door-to-door ringing the bell and getting candy. It was the first time trick-or-treating for Mirin (from www.dayswithmirin.blogspot.com). She figured out how to do it by the third house.
The Jongs arrived right before everyone came back and we started eating at the same time: Thai noodle soup, pork chops with Spanish rice, and last but not least, S'mores. It was the first time roasting marshmallows for Isabella and Mirin. They looked amazed. It made us think of the Hirasakis. We had Halloween with them the past three years, but they moved to Oregon this year. We miss them and hope they had a great time there, too.

Gade and her friends (Bia and Oam) got dressed up for a Halloween party at their friend's house downtown. Before they left, Riot took some shots of the pretty Thai ghost, angle, and devil.
Everyone seemed to have fun and enjoyed the fire pit. Hope we can do it all again next year.

Thank you for inviting us. We had a great time. The marshmellow was yummy. I like them a lot. Ghost Gade pics are too funny. Also like Mirin crying pic.
Too bad Halloween doesn't happen more often. Everybody enjoys the time and fun. Little skunk and heart butterfly are so cute.
If all Thai Ghosts are so pretty.......who is afraid of ghost?
can I make our reservation for Halloween 2009? :) always looks like a fun time @ the Walls!
Susan,
Sounds like a plan...Let's all show up at the Walls next year.
We can have a head start by showing up for Thanksgiving and X'mas.
