HALLOWEEN EVENTS

There are many Halloween events in this area. We participated in couple of them:

Halloween spectacular at The Factory – trick-or-treating with participating vendors. There were so many activities for the kids to do – dance show, magic show, movie, inflatable bouncing house and tube, etc. There were two vendors we especially want to talk about because they gave out the coolest gifts. The first was Three Oaks Photography who took pictures for $1 which they donated to a cancer foundation. The second one was Awesome Blossom who gave a carnation to each kid (as you can see Anya holding). We will definitely go again next year.

Halloween Spectacular at Green Road Park. We met up with the Jongs here. There were trick-or-treating, games and crafts. Anya went on two rounds of games. She also participated in musical chairs for the first time (she had seen it before, but had never done it). The first round, Anya and Isabella were probably the youngest and definitely the smallest. Anya was bumped out first and she cried. David explained to her how the game worked and she watched as other people also bumped out. She was fine after a minute. Later on, they had another round for younger kids and Anya participated on this one, too. She got bumped out second this time…with a SMILE! and she said “I did not cry!” Aden became famous for his costume. People kept taking pictures of him as he walked by.




Anya' s dance class also encouraged the kids to wear a costume to the class. Then the instructor invited the parents into the class at the end. The kids showed their dance skills to the parents and the surprise was, after watching, all the parents had to participate! Riot hopes no one took any pictures or video of her dancing!
