Danny and Ann' s Visit

Riot had promised Danny and Ann, her current and former co-workers, that she would invite them for a cookout when we got our patio and fire pit done. We had it done over a year ago and, after constant pestering by both Danny and Ann, we finally gave in and had them over! We “cooked” hamburgers, bratwurst, hot dogs and few appetizers. We say “cooked” because David was in charge of the grill and he’s no Bobby Flay on the grill! In fact, some things had to be finished inside because the fire was too hot…practice makes perfect, maybe…

Anyway, the kids loved playing Wii Fit and Wii Sport. Danny and Ann brought the best tasting food of the evening – some delicious desserts. We ended the night by making s’mores and sitting around the fire pit.
