Last night, Anya came up with the idea of selling lemonade. At first, we thought she just wanted to pretend play, but she said, “I want to make fresh lemonade and sell it to people for money.” So, David helped her make real lemonade with crushed ice and used the toy kitchen set as the stand. Of course, Aden was the first customer. We used nickels to pay for each cup of lemonade. It was a success – she sold out quickly and made 35 cents! By next summer, Anya will be ready for a REAL lemonade stand in front of the house.
