On Christmas morning, the kids opened their presents. They liked tearing open the presents more than anything. We decided to postpone getting a tree for at least one more year. Anya was more aware about Christmas trees this year and should be ready to help decorate one next year.
We teamed up with Toi's family for Christmas lunch. We cooked grilled salmon, shrimp fried rice, and sauteed sugar peas. They brought turkey and all the fixings (Riot's favorite was sweet potato with marshmallow). Lulu and Sobe got special treats, too. As for dessert, Riot made fruit pie. Since we were so stuffed, we waited to eat dessert for dinner.
