The day after Christmas, we met up with the Juntimas in Asheville. In the morning, we went to Chimney Rock Park. You can see the whole beautiful valley when looking down from the rock. Then we went for a short hike (1.5 miles) to see the Hickory Nut Falls. There was snow around the falls and Gade built a small snowman. It was worth the walk, but we ended up having to carry Anya and Aden most of the way back.

We got tickets to see the Candlelight Christmas Evening event at the Biltmore Estate (http://www.biltmore.com/) at 10 PM that same night. We recently saw the article from CNN that it is in the 5 places to go for holiday light display (http://www.cnn.com/2008/
We went back the next morning so we can see the Estate during the day. It was such a beautiful day and the kids enjoyed running around and playing with each other. We got back in town around 7pm and met at Pookie and Tom's restaurant. Thank you again Pookie and Tom for hosting such a nice dinner! The Juntimas decided to drive back to Virginia that night. It was a very long day for them.
