We took the kids to Wrightsville Beach for a day trip. We got to the beach around 10am and stayed until 5pm. The tempurature was nice, but it was pretty windy. Their friend Samantha joined them for a couple hours, also. The kids had a great time in the water, but the most fun they had was digging up sand fleas. They probably spent a couple hours just doing that! Whenever they caught a big sand flea, they would give it to the fishermen for bait. It was a very enjoyable trip for everyone!
