One of David's co-workers suggested we visit The Collard Patch for our strawberry picking this year. Glad we did! Their strawberries were fresh and sweet and a lot of them. The folks that run it allow people to eat strawberries in the field so the kids ended up eating almost as many as they put in the bucket. Anya would fill her bucket and then try to eat some of them so she could keep filling it up! It was first time for Fame to pick strawberries and eat them straight from the plant. Nothing can compare to this level of freshness.
