We went to the NC Festival last week. There were a lot of activities that focused around things made and grown in NC. They had food and wine tastings, exhibits of antique farm equipment, music, and a small carnival. We went because we wanted to participate in the Manson's BBQ Cooking Championship event - for $10 per adult, we could eat all the BBQ we wanted from all the competitors. However, when we got there, the line was so long we decided to skip it and go straight to the carnival, which the kids enjoyed.
