We started out our Saturday as usual - David and Anya making pancakes. Today, though, they made heart-shaped pancakes and eggs! They were yummy as always.
For dinner, Riot made a huge seafood fest: Salmon Cesar salad, grilled shrimp and pineapple, and bacon-wrapped scallops. For dessert, we had brownies and strawberry ice cream.
Anya and Aden made two cute Valentine's cards for mommy and daddy. Gade made stuffed, heart-shaped pillows for the kids and she gave us a collage pillow (she is so creative!).
We are thankful to have each other. We try to show our love to each other every day, but it's fun to celebrate love on certain days, also.

That heart shape pancake is the pain in the butt. It took me so many bad pancakes before it turned out nicely. David was a pro pancake maker now.
