A couple weeks ago, we went to Historic Oak View County Park for Storytelling Festival. There were several story themes (Blackbeard the Pirate, Charlotte, Hickam, etc). We picked the storyteller "The Healing Force". The story was about The Turtle who Wanted to Fly. It was told while African music was playing in the background. It was very nice. We had picnic there and the kids also had face painting.
